The Department of Energy Century Club Award recognizes Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contractors that have improved the energy efficiency of more than 100 homes in the past year. HEAT Squad is one of a few dozen organizations in the U.S. to receive this coveted award.
Since 2012, HEAT Squad has facilitated 1,500 homeowners in Vermont to make energy upgrades that save them an average of $900 a year on heating and cooling bills. Those upgrades have saved 7,500,000 pounds of carbon and have reinvested $1,350,000 in our community.
